HTS TAG

Terminology & Abbreviation Guide

(TAG)

This TAG aims to clarify terms & abbreviations used in the Hundred Trades Stratagem (HTS), not all of Crypto.

For a more comprehensive Crypto Glossary, please feel free to visit the website below:

BITCOIN-CERTIFICATE

BTCERT

The Crypto Sphere can be a very confusing place with almost infinite information overload.  The importance of a grounded Crypto Education can NOT be overstated. Some people think that many Altcoins are similar enough to & therefore just as valuable as Bitcoin... they are not... learn the difference here & get your very own Bitcoin Certificate.

BREAK-EVEN

BE

A point in the trade where profit achieved offsets the  risk of loss that was accepted & undertaken.

Example:

A 5% profit at TP1 offsets a potential 10% trade-risk (equal to a 3% capital-risk) of loss at SLL.

If the trend reverses, the trader gets stopped out of the trade approximately where they got in.

BUY-STOP-LIMIT-ORDER

BSLO

This is a type of Buy Order that can be placed in the Order Book of a Crypto Exchange.

It specifies the price a trader is willing to buy at and waits for the price to reach that level before it executes automatically.

COINPANEL

CNPNL

This is a 3rd party API ( Application Programming Interface) that allows a user to direct their trades on Binance, KuCoin and ByBit Crypto Exchanges from one interface.  A big plus is that a FULL TRADE on STOP LIMIT allows a user to set up BSLO, SLL, TP1, TP2, TP3, TP4 & TP5 on all three exchanges mentioned.

To visit CoinPanel, click on the picture below:

DYNAMIC-HTS-PORTFOLIO

DHTSP

On an exchange platform, the HTS trader follows a 30 - 30 - 30 - 10 portfolio split. The purpose of this portfolio-split is to move with the tide/trend and stay maximally profitable while limiting loss potential to a minimum, no matter what happens in the Crypto Market.

BTC = Hot Wallet = 30%

To take advantage of Higher-Highs, new All-Time-Highs (ATH), as well as when BTC forms a clear "channel" where it is possible to repeatedly buy at the channel-bottom and sell at the channel-top in order to maximise Capital Growth.

USDT = StableCoin = 30%

Liquid Cash for taking advantage of Lower-Lows and Dips.

HTS = Altcoins = 30%

For altcoin trades as per the Hundred-Trades-Strategy.

EXT = Exchange Tokens = 10%

For taking advantage of the discount on trade-fees paid in exchange tokens.

DO-YOUR-OWN-RESEARCH

DYOR

In Crypto, the mantra "trust, but verify" reigns supreme.  Everyone in the Crypto Space is therefore always reminded to never blindly trust in the theories, statistics, calculations, promises, etc of others but to rather make decisions based on own research.

FIAT-COST-AVERAGING

FCA

This is where a person takes some of their local Fiat & convert it to SATS ( Bitcoin) on a regular basis (daily/weekly/monthly).

The HTS-trader regularly takes a percentage of their trade profits & save it as BTC/SATS

HUNDRED-TRADES-STRATEGY

HTS

This is a crypto trading strategy based on the HTS-Trade-Journal that clearly indicates that exponential capital growth is possible when pursuing a 10+% trade-profit while maintaining a strict 3% risk to trading portfolio value (TPV).  Statistically, it is possible to grow $100 into $1M in 100 x 10% trades.

HTS RULES -AND-GUIDELINES

T-RAGS

This is a set of rules & guidelines that developed out of the practical HTS experiment as well as assimilated knowledge from various trading mentors.

1. Bitcoin is for saving, Altcoins are for trading

Bitcoin is the ultimate asset, not a security.

Assets should be accumelated, not traded.

If we treat BTC as if it's already worth 1 Million USD or more... then...

should we choose to SELL $1M @ $16K?

should we choose to BUY $1M @ $16K?

Fiat-Cost-Averaging (FCA) applies to BTC only (my opinion).

Saving some trading profits into BTC on a regular basis, is "next level".

2. Wait for the right trade opportunity

Planned entries only... no FOMO buys.

When we use BSLO, the price comes to us, rather than us chasing the price.

3.   Accept what the market gives

Guard against greed... nobody has ever gone broke taking profits.

Set up TPs for ALL trades via OcO.

4.  Understand and control risk

3% PRM prevents over-exposure.

This way it will take 33 bad trades to wipe out TPV.

Always set a SLL via OcO.

When TP2 triggers, move SLL to BE.

When TP4 triggers, move SLL to TP2.

5.  Accept what the market takes

Nobody wins every trade.... accept the 3% loss & move on to the the next trade opportunity.

6.  Less is more

A limited number of active trades deliver better results than many.

No more than 3 active HTS trades at any given time.... worst case scenario, it can cause a 9% loss.

It's easier to recover from a 10% loss than a 50%+ loss.

Too many active trades cause an averaging effect that limits profitability and negatively impacts capital growth.

7.  Beware the Comfort Zone

It's too easy to get comfortable taking a $100, $1000, etc trade & get stuck there.

Exponential growth & amazing profits are reserved for those who "get comfortable being uncomfortable".

8.  Discipline seperates the good from the great

Practice makes perfect.

Learn to perfectly follow the recipe, before trying to "improve" the recipe.

9.  Resilience is a Super-power

There is always a next trade opportunity, so a missed trade-entry or a realized loss is not the end of the world.

Shake it off & prepare for the next trade.

10. Sometimes the best trade is no trade

There are times when it's best to stay out of the market.

Stick to the RAGs

Guard against NOD

MINIMUM-TRADE-OBJECTIVE

MTO

The aim of the Hundred Trades Strategy (HTS) with any given trade is a minimum profit of 10%.

Due to the volatile nature of the Crypto Market, this may not always be possible, but nevertheless, that is always the aim.

Note that MTO is Trade Profit, not Capital Growth.

A 10% Trade Profit results in 3%  Capital Growth.

NORMALIZATION-OF-DEVIATION

NOD

This is when we deviate from a rule/guideline just once & " get away with it" aka zero negative consequences materialize.  Soon the deviation/ shortcut becomes the norm, until the set of consequences the rule/ guideline was meant to mitigate, materializes... often as the  worst-case-scenario.

ONE-CANCELS-THE-OTHER-ORDER

OCO

This is a type of Sell Order that can be placed in the Order Book of a Crypto Exchange such as Binance.  It specifies two things at the same time:

1.  A Take Profit Point (Limit Maker) and

2.  A Stop Loss Limit (Stop Limit).

One of the two conditions will trigger and either lock in the profit (TPP) or limit the loss (SLL) and at the same time cancel the option that did not trigger.

PORTFOLIO-RISK-MANAGEMENT

PRM

A unique feature of HTS is PRM.  This is where we seperate the Trade-Risk from the Portfolio-Risk and manage them separately.  Example: While the risk in the trade may be 10%, the risk to our portfolio can be reduced to 3% by adjusting the amout of capital to be allocated to the trade (TCA).

SOVEREIGN-INDIVIDUAL-WEALTH

SIW

SIW is a Mastermind group on the PUMBLE Platform, where like-minded individuals can share, collaborate, learn & guide each other in a completely decentralized & voluntary manner.  The aim is for each individual to strive to attain self-sovereignty through the sharing (give and take) of information, ideas and taking personal initiative.  Anyone/ everyone hungry for knowledge is welcome to join and start collaborating.

To visit SIW on PUMBLE, click on the picture below:

STOP-LOSS-LIMIT

SLL

This is where the trader will get out of the trade at a predetermined "acceptable loss" in order to prevent total loss of capital.  To skilled traders the SLL is not an enemy but rather a "best friend" protecting them against total-loss potential.

SLL2BE

This is where, as soon as the trade reaches TP2, the trader updates the SLL in the trade to where he/she entered the trade at BSLO.  If stopped out at this level there will be no loss because the trader ends up with the same amount of capital they orginally entered the trade with.  This is known as "break-even".

TRADE-CAPITAL-ALLOCATION

TCA

This denotes how much of the trader's TPV is allocated to a specific trade. One of the unique features of HTS is to only ever expose 3% of TPV to risk of loss in persuit of a 10+% profit.

TRADING-MODUS-OPERANDI

TMO

This is the trade-flow/trade-steps as it pertains to a specific Crypto Exchange (such as Binance) or a 3rd-party API tool (such as CoinPanel).

TRADE-OUTCOME-EVALUATION

TOE

This is the evaluation of the planning, execution and outcome/result of a trade for any Lessons Learned (LL) that can be carried over as Action Items (AI) to the next trade.

A trade can result in one of 3 outcomes:

1.  TPP triggered & profit locked in at either TP1, TP2, TP3, TP4, TP5.

2.  SLL triggered & 3% loss realized.

3.  Stagnation - Stuck in the range between SLL and TP1 for more than 7 days in which case it might make sense to exit this trade and open another that may be more fruitful.

 TAKE-PROFIT-POINT

TPP

This is a point in the trade where a profit percentage is achieved.  The trader sells a percentage of the Volatile Coin  at this point to realize & lock in the profit in a Stable Coin.

TRADING-PORTFOLIO-VALUE

TPV

This is the total Fiat Currency value (in Stable Coin) of the trader's trading portfolio dedicated to the Hundred Trades Strategy (HTS).

TRADE-SIGNAL-EVALUATION

TSE

This is a trade-signal that the HTS TSE tool has been applied to, to evaluate the BSLO, SLL, TP1, TP2, TP3, TP4 & TP5 before actively engaging in the trade.
